(Opelousas, LA) – The Kiwanis Club of Opelousas is pleased to announce its 5th year Co-Ed Softball Tournament, our Cook’n for Kiwanis Cook-off, Live Entertainment, & BINGO for all ages. This event will be held at South City Park at 1524 S. Market St. Opelousas, LA 70570 on Saturday, August 16th.
Join in the fun by coming to cheer on local businesses as they engage in friendly competition for a great cause! The games start at 8am. The community is invited to come out, free of charge, to partake in activities or be spectators of the co-ed softball tournament. A cash concession stand with food and drinks will be available. Bracelets for sampling cook-off dishes will be available for purchase for $8 per person.
The Kiwanis Club is a non-profit, global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the lives of children one child and one community at a time. The proceeds from this event will benefit charitable organizations in the Opelousas-St. Landry Parish area.
