Kiwanis Club of Opelousas Announces Community Day of Fun at South City Park
The Kiwanis Club of Opelousas is excited to announce its 6th Annual Co-Ed Softball Tournament, along with the 3rd Annual Cook’n for Kiwanis Cook-Off, 1st Annual Car Show, live entertainment, and BINGO for all ages.
The event will take place on Saturday, May 2, at South City Park, located at 1524 S. Market St., Opelousas, LA 70570. Games will begin at 8:00 a.m.
The community is invited to attend free of charge to cheer on local businesses as they compete in friendly games for a great cause. Spectators can enjoy a full day of activities, live entertainment, and family-friendly fun. A concession stand with food and drinks will be available throughout the day.
Cook-off tasting bracelets will be available for purchase:
- $8 per person
- $5 for children ages 6–12
- Children 5 and under are free
The Kiwanis Club is a non-profit, global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the lives of children—one child and one community at a time. Proceeds from this event will benefit charitable organizations throughout the Opelousas–St. Landry Parish area.
